1. how much weight should I expect to lose if I follow the plan below for 7 days?
2. how much exercise should I do to maximize weight loss?
3. in general, does this plan seem like a good idea?

8 am: smoothie
10 am: serving of fruit
12 am: fruit salad
2 pm: serving of fruit
4 pm: serving of fruit
6 pm: fruit salad, smoothie, or bean salad

I was thinking of going on the elliptical 20 minutes each day, does that sound like too much or not enough? Keep in mind I want to lose as much weight as possible.
