Day – 3 Stay focused

Another good start today. As soon as i woke up the first thing i felt was “Pain”. The soreness from previous day workout was causing that pain and i find it difficult to stretch my hands and walk properly.Anyway the pain is enjoyable, due to the feel that my muscles are building stronger. Today is my Cardio day,so got into my favorite Elliptical Cross Trainer and worked for 30 mins.first time ever I was so motivated that i kept on increasing and reached the maximum intensity available and reduced from there (Refer the photo). I was so focused that my mind started enjoying the whole process of Yes & No fight in myself, and pushed me to do my best. I burned 330 Calories in 30 Mins and i loved it. throughout the session my heart rate was between 160 to 172 which is of 85% to 90% of my maximum heart rate. Ideally i should bring this rate between 70% to 80%,which is advised to be the healthy zone.

After Cardio, i did a 3 Sets of 30 Lbs Barbell Clean and press (Compound Exercise) 12 Reps each.

After reaching home i was really tired, and felt i should take a sick leave and sleep, was lazy for sometime but got ready and headed to work. Today my weight was 127.4kg which is 800 grams less than yesterday’s weight and which made me feel happy.

Thank you Sandy. Just i am sticking to good workout and very less calorie intake, i am creating a calorie deficit of 1500 Calories per day which coverts into 500 Grams weight loss.

Cool Dude. 500 gms weight loss per day is just great. Are you only into weight loss or also in to body building? I am 23 yrs old, weigh 89 kg, I want to reduce my weight but also have a muscular body. I read in many websites that protein shakes and supplements are taken by people who want to build muscles? Is that required?

    • Karthikeyan says:

I am into losing fat and build lean muscle. i have used lots of supplements few years back and the only supplement i recommend will be Protein shake. all others are useless and the website tries to promote. Buy “Whey protein” from Optimum Nutrition, its good and use it just after your workout. If you are lifting lots of weight then you can also use casein Protein before you sleep. if you need any info let me know.
